How to decide your ideal necklace length

Depending on your height and size necklaces can hang at different points on different people so if you’re unsure use a measuring tape for clarity on where a necklace will fall on your body.

The easiest way of deciding on your ideal necklace length is to measure a perfectly fitting necklace you already own. Unclasp the chain and measure the chain section from end to end in inches.

Alternatively use a piece of knotted thread or string to experiment with different lengths. We recommend threading a pedant onto the string to allow it to hang as a pendant chain would. Once you’re happy cut the thread and measure from end to end – this is your ideal length!

Most of our necklaces come on a delicate trace chain that can be worn at either 16 or 18 inches, if you’d like us to make you a bespoke chain length just get in touch!
